& Refund Policy.
These terms govern how you use Xperoc as a client or service provider. Please read them — they protect you as much as they protect us.
Definitions
Throughout these Terms, the following words carry specific meanings:
“Xperoc” means Experoc (Pty) Ltd, the operator of xperoc.com and all associated sub-domains, tools, and services.
“Platform” means the Xperoc website, booking system, tools, and associated services available at xperoc.com.
“Client” means any individual, business, or organisation that uses Xperoc to find, book, or pay for services.
“Service Provider” or “Provider” means any individual, sole trader, or registered business that lists their services on Xperoc and receives bookings through the Platform.
“Booking” means a confirmed service engagement initiated through the Platform between a Client and a Provider.
“Escrow” means the secure holding of a Client’s payment by Xperoc until job completion is confirmed.
“Commission” means Xperoc’s fee of 7.4% deducted from the Provider’s payment upon completion of a Booking.
“Trust Score” means the rating assigned to Providers based on verified reviews, response rate, and job completion history.
About the Platform
Xperoc is a service ordering marketplace that connects Clients with verified local Service Providers. Xperoc acts as an intermediary and does not itself perform any service work.
Xperoc offers two booking modes: Managed Bookings, where Xperoc contacts Providers on the Client’s behalf; and Direct Bookings, where Clients browse and book Providers directly through their profiles.
Xperoc verifies Service Providers before they are listed on the Platform. However, verification does not constitute a guarantee of workmanship, licensing, or professional qualifications beyond what Xperoc has specifically confirmed.
By using the Platform, you agree to these Terms in full. If you do not agree, you may not use Xperoc.
Accounts & Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or transact on Xperoc.
You agree to provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information when registering. False information may result in immediate suspension.
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. Xperoc is not liable for unauthorised access resulting from your failure to protect your account.
Xperoc reserves the right to suspend or permanently remove any account at its sole discretion, particularly where these Terms have been violated.
Client Terms
Clients may submit service requests, browse Provider profiles, and book services through the Platform at no cost. Payment is only required upon confirming a Booking.
By confirming a Booking, you agree to pay the amount stated in the accepted quote. Payment is processed through Xperoc and held in escrow until you confirm job completion.
You agree to use the Platform in good faith and to accurately represent the nature of the service you require in your request.
You agree not to contact, solicit, or transact with Service Providers outside of the Xperoc Platform in relation to any booking that originated on Xperoc. Circumventing the Platform to avoid commission is a breach of these Terms.
You must confirm or dispute job completion within 72 hours of the work being completed. Failure to respond within this window may result in automatic payment release to the Provider.
Reviews left on Xperoc must be honest, accurate, and based on your genuine experience. False or retaliatory reviews are a breach of these Terms and may be removed.
Provider Terms
Listing your business on Xperoc is free. By creating a profile, you agree to provide accurate information about your services, qualifications, location, and pricing.
You represent and warrant that you have all necessary licences, registrations, and qualifications to perform the services you offer on the Platform.
When contacted about a Booking request, you have a 50-minute window to respond with a quote. Providers who respond quickly and competitively are prioritised in the matching process.
You agree not to contact Clients outside the Platform or share your personal contact details with Clients before a Booking is confirmed and paid for.
You agree not to solicit or accept payment from Clients outside of the Xperoc escrow system for any Booking that originated on the Platform.
Xperoc reserves the right to suspend or remove any Provider whose Trust Score falls below acceptable standards, who accumulates repeated complaints, or who violates these Terms.
Payments & Escrow
All payments for Managed Bookings are processed through Xperoc’s escrow system. The Client’s payment is held securely by Xperoc and is not released to the Provider until the Client confirms the work is complete.
Payment is released to the Provider within 24 to 48 hours of the Client’s confirmation of satisfactory job completion, less Xperoc’s 7.4% commission.
If the Client does not confirm or dispute within 72 hours of work completion, Xperoc may release payment to the Provider at its discretion, subject to review.
All amounts are quoted and processed in South African Rand (ZAR). Xperoc is not responsible for currency fluctuations or banking fees.
Direct Bookings made outside the Managed Booking system may not carry escrow protection. Clients using Direct Booking do so at their own discretion.
Your money is always protected on Managed Bookings. It is never released until you confirm the job is done. If you are unsatisfied, do not confirm — raise a dispute instead.
Refund Policy
Xperoc’s refund policy is built around one principle: you should never lose money for work that was not done properly. The escrow system is the foundation of this.

Do NOT confirm job completion if you are unsatisfied. Once confirmed, payment is released and refunds become significantly harder to process.
Raise a dispute through the Platform or email hello@xperoc.com with your booking reference, a description of the issue, and any supporting evidence (photos, messages, or documentation).
Xperoc will acknowledge your dispute within 2 business days and aims to resolve all disputes within 7 business days.
Refunds, where approved, are processed within 5 to 10 business days depending on your bank or payment method.
Important: Xperoc cannot guarantee refund of funds paid directly to a Provider outside of the escrow system. Always pay through Xperoc to ensure your money is protected.
Commission
Xperoc charges Service Providers a commission of 7.4% on the total value of each completed Booking. This is the only fee charged to Providers.
Commission is deducted automatically at the time of payment release. Providers receive the agreed Booking value less the 7.4% commission.
There are no listing fees, subscription fees, or lead purchase fees of any kind. Providers pay nothing until they earn.
Xperoc reserves the right to adjust the commission rate with at least 30 days written notice to affected Providers. The rate applicable at the time of Booking confirmation will apply to that Booking.
Disputes
Xperoc provides a mediation service for disputes arising between Clients and Providers. Mediation is not arbitration and does not constitute legal advice.
Both parties agree to participate in good faith in the Xperoc mediation process before pursuing any other legal remedy.
Xperoc’s decision in a mediation process is final insofar as the release or withholding of escrowed funds is concerned. Either party may still pursue legal remedies independently through South African courts.
Evidence submitted during a dispute may include photos, chat logs, booking confirmations, and quotes. Xperoc will consider all submitted evidence fairly and without bias.
Acceptable Use
The following are strictly prohibited on the Xperoc Platform:
Providing false information about your identity, qualifications, or services.
Attempting to transact outside the Platform to avoid commission or escrow protections.
Posting fake, misleading, or retaliatory reviews.
Harassment, threats, or abusive behaviour toward any user, Provider, or Xperoc staff member.
Using the Platform for any illegal purpose, including fraud, money laundering, or unlicensed professional services.
Scraping, copying, or reverse-engineering any part of the Platform.
Violations may result in immediate account suspension, permanent removal, and legal action where applicable.
Liability
Xperoc acts as an intermediary marketplace and is not responsible for the quality, safety, legality, or completion of any service performed by a Provider.
Xperoc’s total liability to any party in connection with the Platform shall not exceed the total commission earned by Xperoc on the relevant Booking.
Xperoc is not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising from use of the Platform.
Xperoc does not guarantee uptime, availability, or uninterrupted access to the Platform, though we make every effort to maintain reliable service.
Privacy
Xperoc collects and processes personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) 4 of 2013.
Client contact information is not shared with Providers until a Booking is confirmed and paid for. Provider information is not shared beyond what is publicly displayed on their profile.
Xperoc does not sell or share user data with third parties for advertising or commercial purposes.

Changes to Terms
Xperoc reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. We will provide at least 14 days notice of material changes via email or a prominent notice on the Platform.
Continued use of the Platform after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance of those Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of South African courts.
